It's the little things...

WOO HOO!!! Our bumpy, nasty road has been paved!! It's been a lengthy process but as of today we have a nice smooth road running in front of our house!! If you're not familiar with where we live...our house sits VERY close to the road. We use to have several large potholes in front of our house. When semis or anything pulling a trailer would go over them it sounded like they were crashing thru our house. It was a sound that we have gotten use to over the years (although Joseph was still working on that). Now, as I write this, I have not heard any traffic outside my window! YEAH!! Sometimes it's the little blessings...as trivial as they may seem... that are pretty cool!! ~Jaye~

The steamroller man...Joseph waved everytime he went back and forth...
the guy was so nice to honk and wave back each time! :)

Looking for more "trac-tors"...to Joseph EVERYTHING is a tractor!!

BTW and FYI - - -

I have TWO blog lists in my bookmarks. One is for "Daily" blogs (means I check those EVERY time I'm blogging as those people update their blogs OFTEN) The other list is "Other" blogs - - - I don't have to check those very often because there's no need - - - they don't update.

YOU, even being new to blogland, have moved into the FIRST nonfamily spot on my "Daily" list!!!! Whoooo Hooo - - - keep up the GREAT blogging!!!

:-)

It's funny...this is really just an "online journal" for our family. Just wanting to keep track of the stuff in our lives, I guess. I'm glad you've enjoyed it! We've probably kept in touch more with you now since we've started this blog then ever before!! :) I LOVE IT!! It's funny how we now "look" for stuff to blog about...as if anyone is really interested!! :)

I AM INTERESTED!!!! And, anyone else who blogs (like we do) and finds your site will be interested too. Maybe I'll give you a little plug on mine as I do have quite a "regular" readership now - - - NOTHING like Pastor Mark O Wilson in Hayward, but still.

Have you ever noticed the site meter at the bottom of my blog? If you click on it, it will take you to the home page of site meter where you could get your own. What I like MOST about it is once you have one, you can tell the location of those who are coming to your blog. That (and comments) are how I know I have repeat readers.

BTW - - - I LOVE this little picture of Joseph peering down the road for the trac - tor!!!

Glad one road under construction is finished. Now if only they finish the corner of 38th and Adams. The pic of Joseph is cute!
